A two legged walker has always been a robot on my to-do list. Inspired by Bruno Zarokian’s robot I created an NXT robot with the same functions. Though, using three motors, it turned out a little different. Each of the two feet have one motor in them. The third motor is used to shift the center of gravity. It made some people think of a drunk man. That is not such a strange thought when you look at the video below.
While taking the constructions apart I took some pictures of the robot. Even though you won't be able to reconstruct it completely from these pictures, they may be a helpful resource for the walking mechanism. Find them here.
